De Soto's Seafood Kitchen
Award winning DeSoto’s Seafood Kitchen, one of Gulf Shores favorite family restaurants featuring fresh seafood, chicken, pasta, steak, home style sides, salads & sandwiches. Located just a few blocks from our resort, be sure to stop in during your next visit!
Shrimp Basket
In 1993, two locals in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Today, they offer a chance for family and friends to feel a part of the beach, dine and enjoy delicious seafood!
Waterville USA/Escape House
This 20-acre park is located just minutes north of us on Gulf Shores Parkway. Attractions include 17 water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, Shrimp Boat Village, Wa-Wa World and Flowrider. The amusement park attractions include the Nascart Go-Carts, Cannonball Run roller coaster, 36 holes of miniature golf, Trampoline Thing, Fun Depot kiddie rides, the Escape House and a large arcade.

OWA Entertainment Destination
OWA (oh-wah) is a 520-acre resort destination comprised of The Park at OWA, Tropical Falls, and Downtown OWA. Offering shows at the amphitheater, restaurants along the streets of Downtown OWA, ever-changing audience-participation playlist coordinating music, lights and fountain jets in the lake, all bringing OWA together: a beach-vacation tradition that’s made new with every visit.
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo
Voted the "#1 Zoo in Alabama" for two years running, the 25-acre zoo not only provides a more spacious modern haven for our beloved animals, but also includes: theme-park family entertainment, unique fun-filled animal encounters, interactive animal shows, and giraffe feeding station.
Fort Morgan Historic Site
Since 1834, Fort Morgan has stood as the guardian of Mobile Bay. The military site and National Historic Landmark is located just 22 miles west of Gulf Shores, and features an active living history program that holds an annual event commemorating the Battle of Mobile Bay.
